Text message terms and conditions for the New York Life texting program


The following terms and conditions govern the New York Life Texting Program ("program").

By opting in to the program, you agree to receive business and marketing related text messages, at the telephone number(s) provided, from a New York Life agent, who may also conduct business under a  ‘Doing Business As’* , and/or employee who approached you about participating in the program. Text messages may be manually dialed or sent using an automated dialing system. No purchase is required.

The texts are subject to the terms and conditions of your mobile carrier. Standard message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. In the event a text message exceeds the carrier’s character limitation, it may be split into multiple texts.

You can opt out of the program at any time by texting STOP. If you text STOP, you may receive an additional confirmation text acknowledging our receipt of your request.

You may receive more information at any time by texting GETINFO. If you have any questions concerning the program, you may send an email to Agency_Texting@nyl.com.

We cannot guarantee the timing or receipt of a text, as this may be affected by factors outside of our control. In the event a text is delayed or not received, we are not responsible for any related impacts.

*For purposes of this policy, a Doing Business As (DBA) is a business name, other than that New York Life Insurance Company or its affiliates, under which an Agent conducts his or her insurance and/or financial services business.
